Northwest Alabama Spay and Neuter Assistance (NASANA) is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to reducing the overpopulation of homeless dogs and cats, preventing overcrowding in our local shelters, and eliminating the need to euthanize abandoned animals in our area.

Spay/Neuter Applications—Please Read Carefully

NASANA has received donations and a small grant that will enable us to accept a limited number of applications for Spay/Neuters. Since our funds are limited, applications will be accepted for a limited time and for a limited number.

Our application is available at You can also call 256-415-5499 to have an application mailed to you.

Applications received along with the $20 copay and your proof of eligibility (copy of either a food stamp or Medicaid card) will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.

If you have previously submitted an application and have not sent your copay, please so so now.

Once the application process is closed, no copays will be accepted until the application process is opened once again.
